• Are there age restrictions or is a license required?
  
  Yes, 16 years old and up, all drivers must also have at least a G2 Ontario driver's license or provide an equivalent license if from out of province. Note: drivers under the age of 18 require a parental waiver to be signed.

• What if I damage the car?
  
  Participants are responsible for damage that is not considered regular wear & tear to the vehicle (i.e. deliberate recklessness, negligence). 

​

• What is the surface that drifting will take place on?
  
  Paved asphalt with intermittent wetting (to control speeds and prevent  damage to the facility’s property).  This is also to simulate some of the most challenging conditions when learning to drift, along with car control in general.  

​

• How should I come dressed? 
  
  There is a high possibility of drivers getting dirty from foreign elements, don't wear anything you don't want to get dirty. Other suggestions are: light clothing for in-car, light shoes or running shoes (no boots, sandals, heels), finger nails trimmed, thin gloves (optional).

• Will the event be cancelled if it rains?
  
  No, these are rain or shine events, however, extreme weather conditions may lead to cancellations. Review Terms & Conditions

• Is there shelter from Sun/Rain if I’m not in the car?
  
  Yes canopy and enclosed trailer.

​

• Will I be a "drift king" after attending a course? 

    

Maybe? It's not guaranteed, all drivers learn at different rates, some pick it up faster than others, it takes many hours of seat time to become a professional. What you will acquire is further knowledge and experience with controlling a rear wheel drive car when there is loss of rear tire traction.

COVID-19 Guidelines

• Are spectators allowed?
  
  No, Due to COVID-19, we are limiting each event to only driver entries. 

​

• Are spectators allowed to ride along?  
  
  No, due to COVID-19.

​

• Will there be COVID-19 protocols in place?
  
  Yes, a sanitization station will be present and driver controls will be sanitized after each user. Disposable face-masks and gloves will be available at each event.
